Rev. Richard and our Chaplains bring this service to you from the Mercy Center in Auburn, CA. We will have just completed our annual retreat (our first since the pandemic). Our main resource at the retreat is the book, "Discover Your Divinity - A Modern Guide to Affirmative Prayer" by Revs. Linda Martella-Whitsett and Deeann Morency. Linda and Deeann say, "This is about the power of affirmative prayer. It is about the power of praying by ourselves and praying with others from an awareness of our spiritual nature. It is meant to facilitate deep healing and support personal empowerment. Affirmative prayer is about seeing and naming the truth that already is, even if it is difficult to recognize.”
The virtual Sunday service begins at 10 AM (Pacific time), and everyone is welcome to join the live stream as early as 9:30 AM to virtually socialize before the service.
